Fixed Asset Senior Accountant

This position is responsible for recording the fixed asset and general ledger accounting entries and reports to the Senior Accounting Director.

These responsibilities will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and will require a strong understanding and experience with the financial reporting process, U.S.

GAAP accounting, and SOX requirements.

The ideal candidate is a motivated individual and a self-starter who can identify opportunities, propose solutions, identify process improvements, and see them through to completion in a deadline-oriented team environment.


Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Accountancy
-5-8 years of fixed asset and general accounting experience

  • Strong accounting knowledge of capitalization rules
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Financials & Fixed Asset modules
  • Strong understanding and experience with the financial reporting process, U.
S. GAAP accounting, and SOX requirements

  • BGC, Taguig (Hybrid) | Graveyard

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze AFE and CAPEX purchases for proper asset classification.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset function by entering and maintaining asset data including
performing transfers and disposals within the Oracle EBS fixed asset system.

  • Prepare all fixed asset-related reports, including monthly reconciliations, quarterly
summaries, fixed asset roll forwards.

  • Prepare various accrual journal entries including Legal, Facility and G&A with proper
supporting documents.

  • Prepare annual personal property tax filings for applicable state jurisdictions.
  • Record and reconcile the general ledger payroll transactions. Prepare payroll-related
reports, including monthly reconciliations and quarterly summaries.

  • Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and payroll and assist the auditors in their
inquiries.

  • Reconcile intercompany balancing accounts.
  • Record Lease entries derived from Visual Lease system.
  • Continuously review and enhance financial processes and controls to improve efficiency
