Job Summary: The IT Specialist/Manager will oversee and manage our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on technical support, requiring a deep understanding of IT operations and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff for various hardware and software issues.
  • Network Administration: Ensure network security, connectivity, and performance. Manage network configurations and implement necessary changes.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes are in place and effective.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure all IT activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in network administration, server management, and cybersecurity practices. Experience with cloud services and virtualization is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills. Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
