Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as SAP GTS-CTRM Consultant, with a focus on implementing and supporting SAP GTS and CTRM modules.
  • Strong understanding of trade compliance regulations and commodity trading processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP GTS configuration, including customs management, embargo checks, sanctioned party list screening, and preference processing.
  • Experience in SAP CTRM configuration for commodity trading, risk management, contract management, and logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP integration tools and methodologies .

Roles and Responsiblities:

  • Implementation and Configuration : Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP GTS and CTRM modules to meet business requirements. Customize and enhance functionalities as needed.
    • GTS On-premises or cloud deployment, Comprehensive import and export management, Management of free-trade agreements and customs procedures, Self-filing and broker communication.
  • CTRM Integrate and transform processes to reflect current best practices and market conditions, get a consolidated, real-time view of commodity positions across lines of business, Drive excellence across commodity procurement, sales, and risk management, Streamline and automate procurement and sales to reduce errors and save time.
  • Integration Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS-CTRM with other SAP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP) and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Trade Compliance Expertise : Provide expertise in trade compliance regulations, including import/export controls, customs management, embargo checks, and sanctioned party list screening. Configure SAP GTS to automate compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies and tools within SAP CTRM to monitor and manage commodity price risks, market volatility, credit risks, and operational risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Business Process Optimization: Analyze existing business processes related to global trade and commodity trading. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements using SAP GTS-CTRM solutions.
  • Training and Support : Provide training to end-users and support teams on SAP GTS-CTRM functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Assist in resolving technical issues and system enhancements.
  • Documentation and Reporting : Create detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Generate reports and dashboards using SAP reporting tools to provide insights into trade compliance, risk exposure, and trading activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in GTS (Global Trade Services) and/or CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., Dodd-Frank Act, EMIR, Basel III).
  • Familiarity with commodity trading platforms and market data providers .
