Job Summary

  • Responsible for the proper handling and packing bagging of items purchased by the customer after the cashier has recorded the sales.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing porter service to customers with bulk purchases or as necessary.
  • Renders friendly, courteous and efficient customer services.
  • Promptly responds to customers' needs.
  • Responsible for surrendering items left by the customer at the counter to Front End Supervisor.
  • Coordinates with respective Cashier on matters pertaining to sales transactions, customer service and counter maintenance.
  • Coordinates with Back End personnel / Supervisor on matters pertaining to price, item description availability and other related information.
  • Responsible for retrieving and arranging of pushcarts and baskets used by the customer.
  • Ensures stock availability of counter materials and supplies and makes necessary requisitions from the Front End Supervisor.
  • Performs housekeeping function and maintains orderliness of counter / work area.
  • Supports special projects and performs other duties as may be required by the Operations Manager.
  • Strictly follows Company Rules and Regulation, Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strictly observes standard safety and security measures.
  • Immediately reports all issues and concerns affecting the section to the Front-End Supervisor.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications

  • College Level/ Vocational Course
  • At least one (1) year experience in related industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills; computer literate
  • Decisive, self-motivated, goal/ result and people-oriented
