Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an EIA Specialist to join our dynamic Environment team. The role shall demonstrate technical knowledge and experience in Environmental
Impact Assessment and shall contribute to organisational development and performance of the team.

Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Preparing high quality reports such as environmental baselining and impact assessment and other research studies and documentations
  • Conducting of on the ground data (environmental and social) gathering activities, facilitating community consultations and other stakeholder engagement activities, review of technical reports
  • Managing and demonstrating knowledge in the conduct of a local EIA (from social preparation to liaison with DENR-EMB for ECC release), and preparation of ESIA in accordance with international standards, Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) Assessments, Environmental monitoring reports and
    compliances.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience in preparing reports in accordance with local PEISS and international guidelines and standards such as IFC PS, ADB SPS and World Bank ESF.
  • Enhancing and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships
  • Supporting project managers and working with the project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes. Taking-up the project management role upon regularisation.
  • Drafting proposals that demonstrate client focus and knowledge of best practice in the field of environmental management, EIA and ESIA.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience relevant work experience in public and private development projects and consulting experience
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely and effectively
  • Collaborative working in multidisciplinary environments, a strong team player who builds rapport with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental science, or related field of study will be well regarded
