Your responsibilities

• Inspecting structures for building code violations and ensuring compliance with local ordinances
• Inspecting land for zoning compliance, including noting any violations such as illegal construction or use of the land
• Working with contractors or architects to make sure building permits are up to date
• Inspecting development plans to determine if they comply with zoning laws, including density standards
• Participating in community outreach events such as neighborhood meetings to discuss proposed changes to zoning laws
• Issuing citations or notices of violation to property owners who violate zoning laws
• Providing information about zoning laws to citizens who request it
• Conducting inspections of commercial and residential buildings to ensure that they are safe and in compliance with building codes
• Preparing reports on findings of inspections and sending them to the appropriate authorities for further action

The total monthly pay for a Zoning Inspector is Php 15,798. Qualified employees will receive government benefits which include:

Every department, office, and agency shall, as soon as practicable and in no case later than ninety (90) days of the effectivity of the rules start conducting value development programs for its officials and employees to strengthen their commitment to public service and help promote the importance of public interest over personal interest in the performance of their duties.

Continuing refresher courses seminars and workshops to promote a high standard of ethics in public service shall be conducted.
