A talented Python ML/OCR/AI Developer with expertise in a variety of technologies, libraries, and packages including TensorFlow, Pillow, Flask, NumPy, Gunicorn, Pandas, Pdf2image, Computer Vision/Image Processing, Jupyter notebook, and Jupyter lab.

As a Python ML/OCR/AI Developer, your main role will be to create and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to solve complex business issues. You will collaborate with diverse teams to develop ML/AI models and applications that enhance business processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AI/ML Model Development:Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using TensorFlow and NumPy.
    Implement computer vision applications with Pillow and pdf2image for image processing.
  • Data Preprocessing and Analysis:Clean and preprocess data using Pandas for model training preparation.
    Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain insights for modeling decisions.
  • Flask Application Development:Create RESTful APIs and web apps using Flask for AI/ML model deployment.
    Build interactive dashboards for data visualization and model outcomes.
  • Deployment and Scaling:Deploy AI/ML models and Flask applications with Gunicorn for efficient production deployment.
    Utilize containerization technologies like Docker for easy scaling and deployment.
  • Model Evaluation and Maintenance:Evaluate model performance and make necessary enhancements.
    Regularly monitor and maintain deployed models for accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
    Effectively communicate technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation:Create precise and understandable documentation for code, models, and procedures to enable knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
  • Non-negotiableBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
    Demonstrated experience in Python development, especially in ML/OCR applications with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
    Proficient in TensorFlow, Pillow, Flask, NumPy, Gunicorn, Pandas, Pdf2image, Computer Vision/Image Processing, Jupyter notebook, and Jupyter lab.
    Thorough understanding of machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, and deployment.
    Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and web applications.
    Knowledge of containerization and deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
    Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting findings.
    Experience in migrations, architectural design, and process improvements.
  • NegotiableExperience in addressing security/compatibility/end-of-life (EOL) issues related to Python and its technologies through code modifications, upgrades, or migrations.
    Proficiency in developing test cases, test suites, and unit tests for Python, ML/OCR, and associated technologies, libraries, and packages.
    Knowledge of version control tools such as Git/GitHub.
