Morning/Mid/Night Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps

• Improve client references by writing and maintaining documentation

• Participate in the development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language

• Accommodate client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques

• Improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks

• Work with customers/employees to identify computer problems and advise on solutions

• Log and keep records of customer/employee queries

• Update self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves

• Test and fix faulty equipment.

• Deploy, manage, relocate, and support PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Willing to rotate (24/7 or 24/5 coverage) through shift work

• Use of a ticketing system (is a plus)

• Problem-solving skills

• LAN knowledge

• Help desk experience (is a plus)

• Verbal and written communication skills (6 out of 10)

• Knowledge of operating systems (Unix-like, Microsoft, Mac, etc.)

• Phone skills (VOIP)

• Customer service skills

• Quality focus

• PC proficiency

• System administration skills (is a plus)

• UNIX system administration skills (is a plus)
