  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Library Management, Psychology.
  • Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in Education / Academe or equivalent.
Responsibilities

For the School Librarian:

  • Supervises library housekeeping. Maintains supplies and materials in the library.
  • Shelves library materials such as books, magazines and periodicals
  • Receives and records purchased and donated books.
  • Classifies books.
  • Prepares books for circulation.
  • Records the accession number in the accession book.
  • Maintains library collection of books, periodicals and other reference materials
  • Plans and thinks of ways to improve library services.

For the Guidance Counselor:

  • Administers examinations during admission and recruitment processes
  • Plans the program and produces modules and activities to deepen and/or strengthen the school's Values and Character Strengthening Program
  • Evaluates students' abilities and interests through aptitude assessments, interviews, and individual planning
  • Identifies issues that affect school performance, such as poor classroom attendance rates
  • Helps students understand and overcome social or behavioral problems through classroom guidance lessons and counseling
  • Processing individuals and small groups on the basis of student and school needs
  • Helps students create a plan to achieve academic and career goals
  • Study and update student records
  • Reporting possible cases of neglect or abuse and referring students and parents to resources outside the school for additional support
