Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities available by accessing them through client portals and preparing bid-no bid documentation
• Developing the strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) and understanding the clients' specific requirements
• Writing proposals and coordinating input from other specialist staff
• Creating project proposals for government tendering
• Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid; tracking costs and schedules during bid development
• Negotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractors for pricing
• Understand the nature of current and future markets
• Responding to clients' and other stakeholders' queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
• Development and/or approval of key tender internal coordination deliverable
• Schedule, execution plan, Kick Off meeting slides, etc.
• Development and/or approval of key tender approval deliverables
• Pre and post submission client correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Over one years working on tenders and proposal submissions
• Relevant qualifications with a solid academic track record
• A self-starter who can work independently and also contribute to a team environment
• High level of oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Association for Proposal Management Professionals accreditation is preferred
• Confidence in dealing with people and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
• A flair for graphic design or artistic input would be desirable but not essential
