THE ROLE

As a C# Backend Developer, you will translate client requirements into technical development, design schemas, and integrate with other solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all website preparation and all site updates
  • Assist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives
  • Take part in solution architecture based on product requirements
  • Assist with code reviews and pull requests
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation
  • Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the solution
THE CANDIDATE
  • Hands-on experience working using C# and .NET framework with a minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in developing, shipping, and maintaining a cloud-based application.
  • You have good knowledge and experience working on a microservice and distributed architecture.
  • You have a deep understanding and knowledge of restful APIs.
  • You bring in years of experience using relational databases, preferably SQL servers. In addition, a working knowledge of ORMs.
  • You are familiar with cloud development and Azure knowledge and experience is a bonus.
  • A practical knowledge of using messaging platforms in a distributed architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
