iRelyis looking for aQA Software Manager to join their team in the Philippines.

TheQA Software Manageris responsible for overseeing and implementing processes to validate the quality development and delivery of iRely's products. They lead a team of QA specialists, maintain testing methodologies, and collaborate with other departments to identify and address issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement quality standards, processes, and procedures for software testing activities.
  • Collaborates with Product teams to define the test objectives, scope, and strategy.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans that outline the testing approach, test deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensures that the QA testers are executing the test cases and test scripts effectively.
  • Monitor the progress of testing activities, review test results, and provide feedback to the testers.
  • Facilitates escalation of issues and organizes QA resources toward problem resolutions until the delivery through blocker build or patch.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and encourage innovation in testing methodologies.
  • Liaison between the testing team, development team, project managers, BAs, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among various teams to ensure smooth testing processes.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders about base and maintenance release schedules and definite scope of high-level test plans.
  • Tracks and analyzes testing metrics to measure the quality and effectiveness of the testing.
  • Generate reports and dashboards, and communicate the testing status, progress, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Identifies and manages testing risks and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Proactively assess potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the QA testers.
  • Provides continuous coaching and mentorship to the module leads.
  • Responsible for building and overseeing an effective testing team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and schedule testing to meet project release deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to absorb and digest technical information and translate into language all teams can understand.
  • Excellent capacity to learn quickly and multitask.
  • Willingness to work out of core business hours when the job demands.
  • Compile and present Quality metrics and KPIs
