Database Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology)
As a Data and CIMS Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the importing and exporting of data and broader stewardship within CIMS. Your role will involve ensuring the accuracy, privacy, and security of data, and maintaining data management systems, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards and regulations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and an understanding of data.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation and Maintenance:
- Implement, configure, and maintain data within records management systems.
- Ensure systems meet organizational needs and are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor system/service performance, conduct regular audits, and provide optimization recommendations.
- Lead the testing and new version integration of CIMS and Provide Level 1 Helpdesk support on CIMS
- Offer technical support and troubleshoot system issues as they arise
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Enforce policies and procedures for data handling and records management to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting data and records management.
Data Security and Privacy
- Implement security measures to protect data and records from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and coordinate with IT security teams to enhance data security.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure data needs are met and systems are integrated effectively.
- Prepare and present reports on data and records management activities and system performance to senior management.

Planning and Organising
All customers are to have a communication plan that is kept up to date and internal teams are to be kept across any actions that are derived from this planning. Action items are to be addressed and responses to action items are managed to meet expectations.
Technology
An intermediate understanding of the relevant general office application i.e. MS Office, CRM, Teams. High level understanding of internal technologies used to provide customer facing solutions. e.g. CIMS, Filebound.
Learning
Must have the ability to 'self-learn' through research and to determine other skills required.
Initiative, Innovation and Enterprise
When engaging with customers have a strong understanding of customer facing processes and procedures e.g. How to provide project management, gather the fundamentals to support the engagement of professional services which is available from both internal and external resources.

Undertake continuous personal and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills. Participate in company performance appraisal program.
Compliance
