Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of modern data warehousing, ETL/ EL-T, and data modeling- Lead the design and development of ELT and Data Integration routines using Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) and Oracle Data Integrator Market Place (ODI)
- Manage and administer Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)/ EL-T processes to ingest various data sources into an ADW.
- Apply advanced comprehension of SQL to write, optimize, and debug database queries, procedures, and functions.
- Profile, clean, and normalize large data sets for ingestion into an Oracle ADW using tools and programming languages, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c), SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Design and develop or modify ELT Load Plans that load data for the Oracle ADW (Oracle Autonomous data warehouse) using Oracle ODI 12c and PL/SQL
- Develop data strategies to oversee data flow from ingestion to repository storage successfully and then ultimately to dashboards, interfaces, tools, and other stakeholder databases.
- ODI admin to create profiles, users, and assigned roles through the ODI Security Manager Interface.
Must Have:
5+ years of experience with theoretical and practical applications, best practices, methods, and techniques for building Enterprise Data Warehouses, Transactional Data Marts, Data Analysis, BI, and ETL/ EL-T techniques.
- 3 + years of Experience with ODI to perform data extraction and transformation.
- Five years of experience with pl/sql and SQL.
- Experience ingesting data from cloud sources like Oracle Fusion SaaS, Oracle EPM Cloud, and Snowflake. Etc.
- Experience working with Oracle BICC, Oracle ADW, Oracle BIP, and ODI Knowledge Modules ( like LKM, IKM, JKM, CKM).
- Knowledge of load plans, ODI functions such as SET, PIVOT, and UNPIVOT
- 2+ Years of experience working with cloud DWH like Oracle ADW, Redshift, Snowflake
