UNIT / PROGRAM: FPO - Markets and Promotions STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the planning and overall execution of FDCP's participation in film markets
  • Help coordinate and negotiate with festival organizers and suppliers on the mileage, budget, and other market requirements needed by the agency
  • Monitor schedule, bookings, production, and other preparations to ensure that all deliverables are within timelines
  • Help establish a process for lead generation and nurturing
  • Contribute in conceptualization of campaign and themes for the market participation
  • Create communications plan and proofread materials prior to submission
  • Handle inter-agency coordination for direction setting, creative deliverables, communication materials, participating films/projects, and programs to highlight in the markets
  • Prepare creative brief and presentation materials
  • Assist in the processing of travel documents and payment requests
  • Manage expenses and track if within budget
  • Conduct research and develop proposal for campaign execution and ad placements
  • Prepare close out reports with findings and analysis for each activity
  • Help evaluate and create recommendations for succeeding projects / market participation
  • Evaluate the deal terms and facilitate signing of MOA with suppliers
  • Maintain files and records of all documents related to the projects
  • Keep abreast of international best practices in film markets
  • Perform other related tasks needed by the unit

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or any program relevant to the job
  • At least two (2) years of work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in planning, executing, and monitoring of end-to-end phases of a project
  • Experienced in accounts and/or event management
  • Skilled at preparing and conducting presentations
  • Has strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-starter and proactive
  • Willing to travel to different locations if needed
  • Creativity and exposure / sufficient knowledge on films/ film industry are an advantage
