Reporting to the Transmission Line Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of transmission line structures, emergency construction of by-pass structure and related facility for the efficient, reliable and economical maintenance of all transmission lines under the District area of responsibility he is assigned to.

Conducts periodic inspection, patrolling and maintenance of transmission lines related facilities;

Evaluates and reports abnormalities and defects of transmission line structures and hardware according to criticality to the Team Lead;

Installation of structure guy, strapping and correction of leaning pole; bolt retightening and riveting;

Fabrication and replacement of missing tower parts;

Conducts trimming / minor clearing of critical overgrown vegetation;

Assists in the drone inspection of transmission lines;

Prepares needed line materials and hardware before the conduct of line repair and maintenance;

Rerouting /construction of by-pass line;

Implements corrective maintenance through live line hot stick and barehand method;

Installation / erection of of emergency restoration system for toppled structures / affected;

Provides assistance to Substation, MTD and other concerned groups during maintenance, as directed;

Emergency foot patrol and fault identification inspection;

Provides assistance in the negotiation of ROW concerns during clearing/inspectiono activities.

Requirements:

• Lineman Apprenticeship Program(LAP), Line Ranger Program(LRS) or with TESDA certificate(electrical maint./NC2)
• Six (6) mos. experience in electrical and transmission line works
