Web Developer Team Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer Manager to lead our team of web developers in creating, maintaining, and optimizing web-based applications and sites.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled web developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple web development projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and manage project timelines and resources accordingly.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles, and escalate issues as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance, expertise, and support to the team, including architectural design, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development, and advocate for their adoption within the team.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and communicating project updates and deliverables.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships by delivering high-quality solutions and exceeding client expectations.

Quality Assurance and Code Review:

  • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of web applications.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of code quality and craftsmanship.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and marketing, to ensure alignment and integration of web development efforts with broader business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in web development, with 3-4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of leading successful web development teams and delivering high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Preferably living in Cebu
  • Amenable to work onsite in the future
