BASIC FUNCTIONPosition OverviewThe API Developer is responsible for supporting the implementation of project architecture, standards, and processes. This role involves thorough research, identification, and documentation of technical requirements, as well as aiding in project design and implementation.
What you'll do at Insight
  • Support implementation of project architecture, standards, and processes under the guidance of Lead and Manager
  • Research, identify, and document technical requirements
  • Assist in project design, standards, and processes
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of high-level technical design
  • Define project tasks and task definitions
  • Participate in technical team meetings
  • Keep senior project staff updated on project progress
  • Engage in the development of low-level design
  • Collaborate with Lead and Manager on time estimates for project tasks
  • Code following established processes and standards
  • Debug and unit test modules before deployment
  • Support deployment staff with necessary documentation
  • Create and maintain project documentation following standards
  • Design and construct applications or data structures using specified languages
  • Possibly develop programs for data handling

What you'll need to join Insight
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; with two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years of AI Development experience
  • 2-3 years of C# experience
Nice to have:
  • Python, JavaScript, Json, Cloud
  • Azure, AWS, Database
  • Cosmos DB
  • Good to have: Hands-on experience with Azure Cognitive Services, including Azure Custom Vision and Azure Cognitive Search
  • Experience with a revision control system
  • Knowledge of SAP system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client services environment
