A. Technical Skills

1. Understanding of and responding to business queries arising from financial reporting, client invoicing, sales commission, and expense management.

2. Support in preparing timely and accurate quarterly forecasts for revenue and costs.

3. Timely and accurate month-end processing and reporting of revenues and costs and variance analysis as required by key stakeholders.

4. Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and submission of assurance data.

5. Contribution of ideas to help streamline our processes and develop our reporting to the business.

6. Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statements and the core values of the organization.

7. Consolidates financial data and prepares reports, budgets, commentaries, and financial statements.

8. Liaises with various department or unit heads relative to financial data or information, budget preparation, or operational finance reporting.

9. Assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual departmentalized income statements by consolidating accounting data and provides written interpretation of results; monitors and reports on financial performance of individual departments and the division as a whole; recommends corrective actions based on analysis.

10. Provides guidelines, as may be requested by the different work units as cost and revenue centers, on the preparation of their respective budgets; Interprets operative budget policies and procedures to other departments.

11. Monitors the different departments and work units with respect to their compliance with their respective approved operating budgets and ensures the provision of regular budget performance reports to the different work units; Provides guidance on corrective action in cases of negative variances.

12. Manages special projects and other duties as required by the CFO.

13. Assists the CFO in formulating, reviewing, and refining policies and procedures in finance.

14. Assists the CFO with the development and study of new business proposals and planned major capital expenditures including budget preparations, project specifications, capital investments, pricing structures, and marketing strategies.

15. Undertakes research on and provides financial information that enables senior management to make informed long-term and short-term decisions.

16. Prepares weekly planner on activities to be undertaken and prepares reports on actual results, outputs, and accomplishments based on plans at the end of the week; consolidates accomplishment reports into monthly performance reports.

17. Participates in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem-solving, decision-making, and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces, and project teams.

18. Undertakes work activities in conformity with the institutional guidelines on safety and infection control, and participates in the Quality Management programs.

19. Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.

20. Performs other duties and responsibilities analogous, related to, and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities or as assigned by an immediate superior, as necessary.

B. Documentation and Confidentiality

1. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

C. Standards

1. Institute internal safeguards on funds, assets, company properties, and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency of office facilities and equipment.

2. Help in developing new and enhancing work processes in close coordination with the Finance Manager to provide corrective actions to recurring problems including internal guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems from occurring.

3. Monitor compliance of all accounting projects/activities to all regulatory requirements.

4. Enforce the Employee Code of Conduct.

D. Ad Hoc

1. Perform other tasks that may bee assigned either individually or as part of committee.
