About the position:

As the Revenue Accountant, you will have broad responsibilities across all functions, including exposure to accounting, reporting and analysis. This highly visible role will work closely with management and senior-level personnel on the Finance team, as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company. This role is for someone who will be challenged to grow professionally through assignments entrusted to you.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with new US GAAP adoption projects, including but not limited to ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 340 deferred costs;
  • Reviewing transaction data, analyzing, allocating and calculating revenue for multi-element sales contracts for accurate and timely revenue recognition; Assisting with service projects standalone selling price revenue recognition, service tracking and service projects profit/loss analysis for North America Territory;
  • Assisting with revenue and AR reporting analysis;
  • Reviewing urgent CRM opportunities, processing urgent sales orders, and issuing invoices through various channels;
  • Issuing customer account statements, as needed;
  • Other ad hoc revenue related tasks;

What you will bring to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a commensurate level of relevant accounting experience.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in managing revenue recognition and/or service project accounting.
  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to frequently adjust priorities and help the team out wherever needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to details.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel.
  • NetSuite/ERP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with software industry is a plus.
  • Night Shift Requirement (month end).
  • CPA is required (ACCA is a plus).
