Purpose of Position:

 

The Staff Nurse is primarily responsible for the efficient operation and proper maintenance of the center’s Nursing and Diagnostic department. They provide quality nursing care to all clients. The Staff Nurse works closely with the Clinic Manager and Senior Nurse Manager in ensuring both operational and Clinical standards are consistently updated, reviewed, and complied.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensures that all medical supplies are complete and that all machines and equipment are maintained accordingly.Prepares all consultation rooms and EHS pods.Receives patients, checks CMS information making sure that updated and adequate information is noted necessary to deliver accurate and efficient client experience.Always ensures delivery of remarkable and consistent client care and services.Strictly follows radiation safety regulations and standardsDirects patients and assists doctors during examination/procedure as neededGives instructions regarding preparation for the approved procedures/laboratory examinationsAdherence to the strict guidelines for aseptic technique and general precautionHandles the process with the highest respect for the patient's privacy and safety.Coordinate with attending physicians on significant findings to actively assist in the management of the patient.Work with the Clinic manager and the Nurse Manager to coordinate any necessary special staff training, licenses, or other governmental requirements.Secures consent for special test needed or as required by lawDelivers required reports to Clinic Manager and Senior Nurse ManagerControls the accuracy, evaluation, and timely dissemination of patient clinical reports and results in compliance with the agreed-upon turnaround time.Communicates departmental concerns and recommends resolution to the Clinic Manager and Senior Nurse ManagerComply with the guidelines set out in the center's Standard Operating Policies and Standard Operating ProceduresWorks closely with the entire Team to ensure smooth and efficient patient journey.Ensures that calls and ALL of the communications are responded to timely and accurately.Handles client feedback constructively and ability to perform conflict resolution should be exercised.Protect the confidentiality of all company proprietary information and patient records as per relevant confidentiality policy.

 

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:

 

Assist the Clinic Manager with Corporate summary reports or any regulatory or compliance reporting whenever neededEnsure adherence to the policies, procedures, standards protocols in the organization.Participates in continuous quality improvement activitiesPerforms any other additional duties as assigned by Clinic Manager and Senior Nurse Manager

Qualifications:

 

Education: Graduate of B.S Nursing

Minimum Certification: Philippine Board Regulatory Certifications and License, preferably with training in Basic Life Support/Cardiac Life Support
