BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Supervisor oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a warehouse facility. Main responsibilities involve coordinating and supervising warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met.Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by implementing proper inventory control procedures.Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure seamless inventory flow.Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and reconcile any discrepancies.Optimize warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and efficiency.Collaborate with transportation team to arrange efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions.Coordinate with warehouse staff to prepare and pack orders according to customer requirements.Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations.Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency.Streamline workflows, develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), and train staff accordingly.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software tools to optimize operations.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure warehouse performance and productivity.Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety among warehouse personnel.Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take corrective actions.Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other relevant regulations.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related software.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
