WHAT IS A DISPATCH CLERK?

Our awesome client, a leading Australian furniture is looking for a DISPATCH CLERK to be part of their Team.

 

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

Answer all inbound phone calls in a timely manner within set KPIs.Ensure final payment has been taken on all orders before confirming delivery. If payment has not been received, ensure the customer has been contacted for credit card details or to advise alternative action.Make arrangements with transport companies.Organise delivery runs by days and locality.Book carriers, and obtain quotes as required.Provide a high level of Customer Service on Despatch issues such as delays, special requests, payment etc.Liaise with Showroom Managers to resolve issues such as delivery and despatch of floor stock, special requests etc.Assist the Marketing and Design teams with coordinating showroom changeovers and photo shoots.Ensure clear and accurate Data entry into SAP regarding payments, customer details, and customer requests (including time of delivery etc.).Liaise with the customer service team and advise of any issues relating to despatch or final payments received.Ensure timely mail out of receipts & couriering of small items.Contact customers regarding delivery date and time of products.Resolve customer complaints.Engage with customers regarding delivery liaising.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Previous experience in a customer support roleComputer literate and familiar with CRM and Office programsGood administration skills with attention to detailStrong phone and verbal communication skillsFriendly attitude with the ability to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phoneActive listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objectionsCustomer focus and adaptability to different personality typesCommunicates respectfully, clearly and effectively with a wide variety of personalitiesAbility to multi-taskAttention to detailAbility to set priorities and manage time effectivelyHardworking, persistent, and dependable, while encouraging a team environmentPositive and enthusiasticMaintains confidentialityActs honestly and with integrity
