Primary Responsibilities:
Lead strategic application development plans and initiatives.Design and execute IT solutions for features, functions, and capabilities.Perform code and code design reviews; Enforce code and design quality standards, including bug fixes.Function as the overall process owner of Solutions Delivery; responsible for defining, maintaining, and improving frond-end development processes, procedures, and work standards.Ensure that team members comply with the Quality Management System.Gather and interpret data from periodic performance and quality reviews and address issues and areas of improvement.Report to the Architecture and Solutions Delivery Director, ensuring maximum project visibility and compliance with development processes and standards.Work with the Technical Architect (TA) on implementing quality coding structure and standards.Approve development deliverables in coordination with the Solution Architect (SA) and TA.Make sure that development execution is in accordance with the defined designs of the SA and TA.Conduct technical reviews and ensure complete documentation of project development artefacts.Analyze existing IT processes and develop effective and efficient solutions and strategies.Reinforce Agile practices and manage Scrum events.Train and coach direct reports and provides guidance via defined processes.Carry out resources and capacity planning for development work.Basic Qualifications:
A College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any other related course.5-10+ years total development experience.At least 3 years of experience managing large teams (10+) of mixed roles.Advanced knowledge in project analysis, design, delivery, and methodologies.Strong project management and resource planning skill sets, e.g., CRM, ECM, and CMS.Comprehensive understanding and expertise in business process analysis techniques, I.T. project lifecycles, digital transformation initiatives, and system migrations/integrations.Proficient with web application development; experience in developing mobile applications is a plus.Excellent grasp of front- and back-end languages and frameworks.Very good knowledge of coding standards and workflows, Scrum and Agile practices.Extensive experience with SharePoint technologies and related frameworks, as well as Java, JavaScript, and other ancillary technologies is an advantage.
Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
