Laniakea Ventures, an educational consultancy startup that offers mobile planetarium, museum, and science activities to different schools mainly in the Visayas and Mindanao area is looking for two (2) junior lecturers.

Minimum Qualifications and competencies

BS Astronomy graduate or BS Secondary Education graduate with a major in any STEM field and preferably LET passer; fresh LET passers are welcomeIf not yet a LET passer, must pass the LET by no later than September 2025Strongly interested in Earth and Space SciencesCan communicate flexibly and comfortably with students of various grade levelsBased in Cebu or is willing to stay in CebuPreferably fluent in CebuanoHas the physical and mental fitness to travel oftenTeam playerAlways willing to learn about new things and topics

Major responsibilities

Serve as Earth and Space science lecturers for Laniakea’s mobile science caravans in different schoolsAssist in producing infographics and reels for Laniakea’s social media pageAssist the Director for Research and Development (R&D) in the implementation of their research and investigation tasksAssist in engaging with stakeholders such as parents, teachers, and school headsAttend and facilitate trainings whenever they arise

Tenure

Project-based for at least one school year. Tenure renewal subject to performance & availability of funds
