Job Description:

Middle Mile Coordinator entails planning, allocating, and overseeing the seamless and efficient transfer of trucks. This position encompasses monitoring activities within Regional Centers (RC), supervising linehaul operations from the SOC to the RC, and providing timely updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status. Additionally, the Midmile Coordinator maintains precise records, verifies partnership billing, and fosters communication among pertinent teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain schedules for linehaul operations, including assigning routes and vehicles based on factors such as delivery lead time, vehicle capacity/ truck productivity, and driver availability.
2. Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and other personnel to ensure smooth execution of scheduled routes and address any issues or delays that arise.
3. Monitor and analyze route performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
4. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments, such as regional center, last mile, Midmile to provide updates on schedule changes, delays, or other relevant information.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to improve the effectiveness of linehaul scheduling processes.
6. Monitor pre-booking linehaul requirements for RC to Hub, RTS, and intra VisMin requirements.
7. Ensure updates on the status of shipments upon transporting until they reach every Hub.
8. Conduct regular performance reviews per trucker to ensure adherence to company standards and efficiency in operations.

    

   Requirements:

   • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
   • Proven experience in transportation logistics, with a focus on linehaul operations.Strong understanding of transportation management systems or any data dashboards.
   • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
   • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, trucker, and drivers.
   • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data- driven decisions.
   • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
   • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
