  • Plans and conducts surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements; calculates heights, depths, relative positions, surveyed property lines and other characteristics of terrain.
  • Establishes benchmarks and reference or control points of the area being surveyed consistent with the adopted coordinate scheme or previously established locations with the same spheroid/ellipsoid, projections (including Philippine Transverse Mercator and Universal Transverse Mercator), grid locations/references, and mean sea level/ mean low water mark and other vertical controls.
  • Determines longitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels and satellite-based global positioning system (GPS).
  • Computes geodetic measurements and intercepts survey data in order to determine positions, shapes and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
  • Determines with suitable spatial resolution and elevation, topography of the area from field survey measurements.
  • Determines volume of materials, as in trucks, stockpiles, including materials loaded to marine vessels, among others.
  • Determines feasible road alignments, locations of various installations as may be required subject to field conditions and topography.
  • Determines areas of watersheds, and determine viewsheds/ line of sight coverages.
  • Records, prepares and maintains sketches, maps, reports, and legal description of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Verifies accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
  • Willing to be assigned in Palawan or Zambales
