Summary: The Software Developer will focus on application development and support for both Windows and Web-based applications. This includes any technical activities associated with meeting client expectations, coordinating and communicating across disciplines and departments with a focus on quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop Windows and Web-based software applications using OO design principles and Test Driven Development.Adhere to standardized SDLC practices including source control, release planning, and implementation.Participate in requirement/implementation meetings with clients (internal and external) to understand the business requirements.Develop and maintain reports for both internal and external clients.Participate in design/planning sessions.Participate in 24/7 on-call support.Provide end-user, hardware and software support.Stay current with technology as it applies to Carenet.Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.Ensure the compliance to enterprise security policy

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from a four-year college or university with at least two years of experience developing applications using .Net technology; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience preferred in the areas of software development, reporting, web application architectures and services, and network architectures and services.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with and solve problems using solid judgment skills.
