Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guest to their tables in a warm and friendly manner.Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients, potential food allergies)Practice of suggestive selling and communicate daily specials, best sellers and promotional activities to guests.Take accurate food and drink orders through order slips and record transactions in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and act promptly in a friendly and professional way.Responsible for preparing table set up and replenish backups such as silverwares, glasses etc. including bussing out.Ensure guests are serviced within the specified time.Ensures the compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures and relevant health department regulations of the restaurant are followed.Communicate order details to the kitchen staff including guest requests, length of wait and product availability.Maintain cleanliness and sanitations within the restaurant including service stations and dining equipment.Serve food and drinks orders accordingly.Deliver checks and collect bill payment.Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.Ensures the compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures and relevant health department regulations of the restaurant are followedMeet guest satisfaction through positive and smooth dining experience for all guest.
