Music Technician

Job Title: Music Technician

Location: San Isidro, Makati  
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain recording and sound equipment, including mixers, microphones, and software.
- Assist in the recording process, ensuring high-quality audio capture.
- Collaborate with musicians and producers to achieve desired sound and effects.
- Edit, mix, and master audio tracks using industry-standard software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live).
- Set up and dismantle equipment for recording sessions and live performances.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with audio equipment and software.
- Keep up to date with the latest music technology trends and techniques.
- Provide technical support during rehearsals and performances.
- Maintain an organized inventory of audio equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a music technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) and sound editing software.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, sound design, and audio production techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with live sound reinforcement and event production.
- Knowledge of music theory and composition.
- Familiarity with MIDI and electronic music production.
