Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Material Planner to join our Vehicle Logistics team based in Batangas City, Philippines.


The Material Planner is a member of the Hub Planning Section that is responsible for resource planning and operations system set-up for vehicles and parts to ensure that monthly and daily requirements are met. 

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in material planning and information monitoring.


Your role and responsibilities:

Provide forecast and ensure reliable supply chain operations of the suppliers Creation of purchase requisition and monthly material requirements plan (Delivery Authorization & Delivery Schedule) based on production schedule, sales forecasts and inventory management policy Effectively collaborate with warehouse, production planner, marketing department and suppliers to maintain good level of inventory including material runout activity Regularly review inventory of materials and suppliers' window delivery time Monthly parts inventory stock taking and ensure inventory accuracy Proactively identifies, communicates, and addresses the risk of material obsolescence or excess New part implementation maintenance and monitoring Monitor production status and performance of suppliers

Our perfect match:

You have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration. Background in Material Planning or Logistics Operations is an advantage. You can establish courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently. You are capable of identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. You are capable of accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time. You effectively manage your time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently. You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them

Skills required:

Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Excellent verbal, written English communication skills. Knowledge of using SAP is an advantage. Data Analysis Problem identification, analysis and solving. High analytical & forecasting skills Great at documentation & detail oriented
