Key Responsibilities:

Remote Project Evaluation: Review project specifications, blueprints, and site details provided digitally to understand the full scope of both construction and landscaping projects.Cost Estimation: Utilize digital estimation software and tools to calculate costs related to materials, labor, and other resources for both construction and landscaping projects.Budgeting: Collaborate virtually with project managers and stakeholders to develop and refine accurate project budgets for construction and landscaping work.Digital Documentation: Create detailed and accurate proposals using online collaboration tools, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and resource allocation plans for construction and landscaping projects.Remote Bidding: Prepare and submit competitive bids in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) through digital platforms, covering both construction and landscaping aspects.Online Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers and vendors digitally to obtain current pricing and availability information for construction and landscaping materials and services.Quantity Surveying: Apply digital tools to calculate and specify quantities of materials and resources needed for both construction and landscaping projects.Resource Allocation: Assist in the online management and allocation of resources, including labor and equipment, ensuring efficient project execution for construction and landscaping projects.Virtual Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, designers, and construction teams through online platforms to ensure accurate estimations and smooth project execution.Remote Client Interaction: Engage with clients digitally to understand their requirements and address any concerns related to project estimates for both construction and landscaping.Proficiency with Digital Tools: Demonstrate strong skills in using digital estimation software, including BuildExact or similar tools, project management tools, and virtual communication platforms.Analytical Skills: Exhibit excellent mathematical and analytical abilities to ensure accurate cost calculations and project assessments.Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail in reviewing digital project requirements and producing precise estimates.Industry Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of construction and landscaping materials, methods, and practices, utilizing online resources for additional information as needed.Effective Communication: Exhibit clear and concise communication skills for online interactions with teams, clients, and suppliers.Project Management: Manage multiple projects remotely, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines in a virtual environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in construction estimation, with additional experience in landscaping estimation preferred. A track record of remote work experience is also preferred. Preferable experience with BuildExact or other estimation software.Skills: Proficiency in digital estimation software, project management tools, and virtual communication platforms.Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
