About the role
We are seeking a talented Tech Support Specialist to join our team in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. This is an independent contractor position where you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our agents and other stakeholders.
As a Tech Support Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of IT-related issues, ensuring our customers receive prompt and effective assistance.
What you'll be doing
Provide first-line technical support to agents and other operations staff, addressing their IT-related questions and problemsDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issuesCollaborate with the IT teams locally and onshore to identify and implement solutions to IT-related concernsMaintain detailed records of support activities and document resolutionsContinuously expand your knowledge to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practicesContribute to the development and improvement of our support processes and proceduresWhat we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role, preferably within the BPO industry or with a healthcare accountStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutionsExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple termsFamiliarity with common operating systems, software applications, and hardware troubleshootingExperience with Active Directory and Group Policy.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Citrix, and VMware.Willing to work in a hybrid setup.What we offer
