Load Controller

Duties:

• Retrieve information on booking, PNL editing, aircraft assignment, crew complement and initial block fuel.
• Input aircraft assignment, crew complement, captain’s name and initial block fuel in the system.
• Perform pre-flight planning and trimming based on passenger booking and estimated baggage,  cargo and fuel load; utilize the Loading Instruction Report Form and coordinate with Ramp Agent on loading requirements including baggage build up area load per push cart; ensure blockings of seats in the system for weight and balance purposes, as applicable.
• Coordinate with Duty Manager/Station Supervisor any baggage accepted for check-in requiring special handling and alert ramp agent accordingly.
• Accomplish NOTOC for any special load for Captain’s information and signature.
• After the pre-flight trimming is accomplished, closely coordinate with Ramp Agent on special loading instructions, (e.g., heavy outbound and volumetric loads); confirming physically, when needed, that loading is in accordance with the completed Loading Instruction Report.
• Close load sheet on time and coordinate from Ramp Agent for any loading deviation.
• Present signed load sheet and completed NOTOC form, if required, to the flight deck for signature.
• Provide CCI with a copy of signed load sheet together with a copy of the computer generated passenger manifest (for DCS) or manually prepared passenger manifest (for manual check-in).
• Retrieve signed LIRF from Ramp Agent and endorse it to CCI together with the load sheet and passenger manifest. Ensure that any loading deviation is reflected accordingly.
• Perform any other airport related functions as instructed by the Duty Manager/Station Supervisor especially in case of flight disruption/delay.
• Prepare and submit required reports in respect to any unusual incidents, safety violation, loading/offloading discrepancies.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Station Manager/Assistant Station Manager/Station Officer, as applicable
