Overview:

The Content Marketing Editor is responsible for overseeing the creation and refinement of high-quality, engaging content, including SEO-optimized articles, social media posts, and multimedia assets, that align with the brand’s creative vision. This role involves editing a variety of content formats while collaborating with creative teams to ensure a balance between editorial precision, creative flair, and search engine optimization. The Content Marketing Editor ensures that all content is compelling, SEO-friendly, and consistent with the brand’s tone and identity.

 

Job Description: 

Edit and refine various types of content, including blog posts, articles, website content, social media posts, SEO content, branding materials, and email marketing campaigns.Collaborate with writers, graphic designers, and multimedia artists to develop cohesive and engaging content.Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity, maintaining high editorial and creative standards.Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure content is both original and innovative, while also meeting marketing and business goals.Oversee quality control for all creative outputs, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand messaging and audience engagement strategies.Stay updated with industry trends and content best practices to introduce new and creative approaches to content creation.Manage the editorial process from concept development to final publication, ensuring deadlines are met and content is polished.Collaborate with different teams to ensure content integrates smoothly into broader campaigns.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
 

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. Proven experience in SEO Copywriting and Content Creation.Proven experience in content editing, with a strong focus on creative content development across various formats.Strong understanding of SEO, SMM, and content marketing.A keen eye for detail with the ability to balance editorial quality with creative innovation.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with writers, designers, and multimedia teams.Ability to provide constructive feedback on both written and visual content to enhance overall quality and creativity.Familiarity with branding, content marketing, and visual storytelling principles.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content creation tools.
