As an HSM Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the secure operation of our Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Your role is crucial in safeguarding our digital assets by implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security processes around the use of HSMs. You will be reporting directly to the Systems and Network Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain HSMs across various environments.Implement and oversee security policies and procedures related to HSM operations.Monitor HSM performance, conduct regular security audits, and provide performance optimization recommendations.Troubleshoot and resolve HSM-related issues while ensuring minimal downtime.Coordinate with IT and information security teams to align HSM management with overall security strategies.Manage access controls and maintain detailed logs of all HSM activities.Stay updated with the latest security threats and ensure HSM firmware and software are up to date.Train and support team members on HSM-related activities and best practices.Prepare and maintain documentation related to HSM procedures and configurations.Perform other related duties as assigned, depending on organizational needs and your expertise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Proven experience with HSM technologies and understanding of cryptographic principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Strong technical skills with experience in managing and configuring hardware security modules.Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash or Java) for automation of tasks.Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on security.Ability to handle stressful situations and react to security emergencies effectively.Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to HSM (e.g., PCI DSS, PCI CPoC, PCI MPoC).
