Experience/Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Secondary or Tertiary Education or its equivalent
  • Preferably one-year experience
  • Preferably with an International General Certificate of Secondary Education
  • LET passer (or will take within 3-5 years)

    The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:

    • Preparing Course Outlines and Unit Plans following the guidelines set by the school.
    • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting the development and progress of students.
    • Preparing Formative and Summative Assessments following the standard/practice set by the school
    • Submitting students’ scores according to the prescribed system in an accurate and timely manner
    • Conducting Parent-Teacher Conference
    • Maintaining a healthy, respectful relationship with students and parents
    • Observing the code of ethics for professional teachers
    • Participating in faculty meetings and coaching sessions
    • Ad hoc projects as required
