Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve sales effectiveness.Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market share objectives. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.Quota Setting:
Establish realistic sales quotas for the team and individual sales representatives. Monitor progress towards quotas and adjust targets based on performance and market conditions.Sales Operations:
Actively seek out and close new clients with regular client meetings and sales activities as part of their schedule. Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales efficiency. Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance, forecast sales, and report on key metrics.Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects. Assist in negotiating and closing high-value deals, providing support and expertise as needed.Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives and enhance product offerings. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term sales plans and strategies.Training and Development:
Provide training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive.Reporting:
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive decision-making. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and negotiate deals effectively. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results and exceed targets.
