Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize tax benefits.Review financial records, statements, and documents to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.Handle tax audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues with tax authorities.Maintain detailed records of all tax-related transactions and documents.Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.Provide training and support to junior tax accountants as needed.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in tax accounting.
Requirements/Skills Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification preferred.At least 3+ years of experience in tax accounting.At least 2+ years of experience in public practice accounting.In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and AU local tax laws and regulations.Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Experience with tax audits and resolving tax-related issues.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
