Experience as a QA in cakes and pastries is a MUSTEnsures that production is efficient and adheres to safety and quality standards.Manage commissary production qualityObserve and check raw materials used or finished goods produced for visible defectsPerform Food Safety trainingInvestigate customer complaintsEstablishes, monitors and maintains a robust quality assurance and quality control system to ensure food safety, quality sanitation and regulatory requirements are met for food products and operationsExpert on food safety best practices, public health regulations, and industry best practices.Continuous growth and development of team members through training, coaching, and benchmarking.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be BS in Food Technology, BS in ChemEng, or BS in ChemistryWith least 1year of related work experienceKnowledgeable in reporting and documentationTeachableWilling to conduct field workExperience in food manufacturing or food service quality assurance/ quality control; working experience related to Quality Food safety Management System (e.g. GMP, HACCP, Basic Food Safety, Servsafe)
