Position: Full-Time Occupational Therapist

About the Role:

Join our passionate and dedicated team at Smallville Montessori as a full-time Occupational Therapist In this on-site role, you will play a crucial part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Developmental Support: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate therapeutic activities that align with the Montessori philosophy and cater to each child's unique needs.Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's strengths and areas for growth, ensuring personalized and effective intervention plans.Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members to provide a cohesive and high-quality educational experience for all children.Parental Communication: Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and offering guidance on how to support development at home.Safe Environment: Ensure a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported, fostering their confidence and independence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.Familiarity with the Montessori method is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
