The Human factors Officer assists in establishing and implementing a comprehensive Human Factors program that encompasses the identification and prediction of human factors’ impact on work performance, and work towards establishing effective countermeasures to reduce or eliminate any adverse effects.

Who Are We Looking For?

College Graduate preferably from any field of Psychology , Behavioral Science background ( Aviation Psychology or Aviation Human Factors)Must have atleast minimum of two years’ experience in a medium or large-scale aviation corporation is preferred.Must have comprehensive working experience in handling graphical, statistical and systems flow processes.Must have exposure and working knowledge in the field of aviation operationsMust have good oral and written communication skillsMust have sufficient knowledge of aviation safety and regulatory standardsHighly analytical, data-driven, systematic thinker, and problem-solverAbility to synthesize and communicate insights with different levels in the organization

Major Responsibility Areas

Assist in the implementation of the company’s fatigue factors management process.Collects and processes the safety reports, particularly on the human-related aspect of safety events/hazards and assists in the formulation, implementation, and dissemination of corrective/preventive actions.Assist in the coordination with the PAL Aviation Training Center (PATC) in the design and implementation of measures based on recent advancements in Human Factors in Aviation, directed to the reduction and prevention of incidents and accidents.Conducts the preparation and dissemination of safety bulletins about accident reviews, safetycritical information, and other safety information involving human factors to promote safety consciousness.Assists the appropriate Aircraft Accident Investigation Board and/or participates in the investigation of minor aircraft accidents/incidents by determining the causal (human factor aspect), recommending of corrective/preventive measures, and coordination of the formulation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions as deemed necessary by the Manager-FSD.
