Specialist, Travel ServicesJob Description
The Travel Services Specialist as part of the Travel & Service Department, focuses on business travel needs of the company, its employees, and other individuals with company-related requirements. The scope focuses more on the administrative responsibilities of the department and providing support to other stakeholders.Role and Responsibilities:
- Processing of domestic and international transportation and lodging arrangements for the organization's employees & clients (flights, hotels, transportation, credit card, etc.)
- Confirming reservations, distributes tickets along with confirmations to traveler.
- Researching on optimal travel alternatives and identifying most suitable as well as best quality service with reasonable possible rates.
- Interacting with partner travel agencies or individuals to verify travel details and arrange reservations.
- Facilitating Visa and other travel-related document applications
- Processing of Invoice & Reconciliation of expenses
- Reporting of accruals to Finance Department
- Maintenance, identification and verification of Credit Cards
- Screening and Processing of reimbursements and other related expenses
- Researching and resolving all incorrect charges with respect to entire travel program
- Maintaining queues in priority order as well as proper timelines
- Coordinating, supervising and implementing every aspect of travel arrangements for staff, and clients
- Monitors and Creates Purchase Orders requirements for the team and other departments, as necessary
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have a Bachelorâs degree from a three year College or University
- Must have atleast 1yr of experience handling the similar role in Customer Experience/ BPO Industry.
- Should be well versed with Flight/ Hotel Bookings, Event management, International travel documentation (VISA formalities) etc.
- Prior experience in Global Travel Services role would be an added advantage.
- Should be proficient in MS office i.e. Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
- Decent communication skills.
