Responsibilities:Directly reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Store Architect for all store construction works including renovation and maintenance of the storesMonitor the condition of store’s equipment and fixturesResponsible for the repair and maintenance concerns of all storesContact vendors/suppliers/local engineers/engineersMaintain constant communication with construction, real estate and store operation teams to meet deadlinesResolve field design issues with General ContractorsParticipate in weekly/monthly meetings with the stakeholders to review all projects and provide them with all information required by them to complete the construction worksConduct periodic visits to stores to ensure adherence to global design and specificationsFollow-up on building permits and review process with outside architecture firmReview final construction drawings with landlords for Design Criteria requirementsEvaluate progress billing, checking completion of contractor’s workEnsure quality control and maintain Global standards set by the BrandsDevelop the systems, process, timeline and work sequencing considering time, cost and qualityQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related engineering courseWith at least three years of experience in store development/management preferably in a retail environmentAutoCAD experience is requiredHas a general understanding of the construction processFamiliar with Microsoft applications, strong excel and word capabilitiesAbility to read schematics, blueprints and technical manualsGeneral understanding of visual merchandising requirements and expectationsSelf-starterCapable of managing multiple projects and working under tight timeline constraints through completionAbility to travel as necessaryAbility to work beyond normal working hours
