Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team onsite in Cebu City. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accurately documenting medical procedures, patient information, and physician notes in real-time. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately document patient encounters, including history, examination, diagnosis, treatment plans, and physician notes in real-time.Assist healthcare providers by entering patient data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system during clinical visits.Review and update patient medical histories and ensure that records are complete and accurate.Prepare and organize patient charts for upcoming appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available for the provider.Follow up on any incomplete patient records and work with providers to ensure timely and accurate completion.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.Assist in the preparation of medical reports, discharge summaries, and other documentation as required.Stay updated on medical terminology and coding practices to ensure accurate documentation.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar medical documentation role.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation processes.Proficiency in using EHR systems and other medical software.Excellent attention to detail, with strong typing and data entry skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.Preferred:
Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.Familiarity with medical billing and coding practices is an advantage.Benefits:
