About us:
Bringing the offline to online – digitizing retail and restaurants rewards and e-commerce
ZAP is the leading loyalty and rewards startup in the Philippines. We work with over 2,000 merchants to bring their brick-and-mortar stores online.
Starting from loyalty and rewards, ZAP has pioneered the first mobile number-based loyalty program in the country with over 5 million members. Removing all possible points of friction for the consumer, points are awarded just using a mobile phone number – no apps, mobile data, or cards are needed.

Your role:Develop, maintain, and improve ZAP software.Help in deployment.Understand the client's requirements and translate them into clean, efficient codes.Attend Scrum/Agile sprints.Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, fix, or create new features/products.Learn new technologies.Perform other related tasks that may be assigned.
Our requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.At least 2 -years of work experience as a backend developer using any of these: PHP, Node.js, or PythonExperience in React is a plus.Ability to understand the client's requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.Capacity to learn new technologies quickly and a desire to improve existing skills.Experience or familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.Self-directed and can work well in a team.Can deliver quality work even when working remotely.
