POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Planning and Inventory Control Staff leads the PPIC process which includes the material requirements planning, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution. Ensures that every step of the process is functioning effectively to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.  

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Accountable in providing information to pertinent departments relating to production schedules and production plans.Manages warehouse inventory versus customer requirements based on sales projection;Maintains a workable inventory level of all products, materials, and finished goods in compliance with the Quality Management System.Audits inventory, logistics, and warehousing;Recommends efficiencies in production whenever possible or necessary.;Conducts a regular meeting with the team to ensure that strategic plans and goals are met. A part of the Operations Department but functions independently.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or any related field.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Production-related field under supervisory level.Experience in developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.Can translate Customer Demand into Production Priorities and track completion dates and address any gaps.Preferably living within the vicinity or amenable to work in Valenzuela or relocate prior to on-boarding.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Good leadership skills, capable of managing and leading a team.Good self and group organizing skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and detail-oriented.Excellent in decision making skills.Time management skills.Knowledgeable of basic computer operations and applications such asMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
